LABS TO GO offers full Department of Transportation (DOT) and CDL physical examination services in Virginia Beach, VA. DOT/CDL physicals are required at least every 24 months to ensure commercial motor vehicle (CMV) driver ability and safety.
All LABS TO GO physical exams are performed by NRCME certified & experienced medical examiners. Our examiners are fully trained, tested, and certified in professional medical examination, specifically in relation and adherence to FMCSA guidelines effective May 21, 2014.
Our DOT/CDL physical testing goal is to ensure medical driver safety while getting drivers back on the road with convenience and speed.

Your thorough physical exam will last around 20 to 30 minutes. Please have any specialized medical cards or documentation requests available at the time of your visit.

Checking acuity and peripheral vision to ensure safe driving capabilities.
Forced whisper test or audiometry to confirm adequate hearing.
Basic physical metrics are recorded for your health profile.
Includes measurement of blood pressure, pulse, breathing rate, and temperature.
Screening for underlying medical conditions like diabetes or kidney issues.
A medical examiner’s certificate will be provided at appointment completion based on qualification. Additional testing will be provided as appropriate depending on the initial screening results.
